The Heart Truth® Online program is designed for the busy primary care provider. Program content will focus on new information supported by the most recent scientific evidence that affects clinicians and their care of patients. It is just one component of The Heart Truth® Ohio’s multi-modal approach that seeks to improve risk factor screening, assessment prevention, early intervention and treatment for women at risk for heart disease according to AHA Guidelines for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in Women. |
Primary Care Providers will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge, counseling skills and treatment of women in a format that is accessible and convenient. Links to the tools needed to counsel women on risk factors and provide advice on heart-healthy lifestyle choices are also available.
